Paulβs Review for the:
Al Tirabuson Boutique Guesthous
Details:
Duration of stay: 3 nights / weekend trip
Paul the
Sheep has gone off the beaten track and for the first time reviewed a Boutique Guesthouse rather than a hotel β and what a discovery it was!
Location:
Al Tirabuson is tucked away just outside the charming town of Nizza Monferrato, in the heart of the Monferrato wine region β a UNESCO World Heritage area known for its rolling hills,
vineyards, and authentic Italian countryside flair. Perfect for those looking to unwind, explore Piemonteβs culinary treasures, or simply enjoy the silence and beauty of nature.
Rooms & Suites:
This boutique guesthouse features a small and exclusive setup with 5 rooms, 1 junior suite and 2 suites.
We stayed in one of the suites, Vinitor β and it was fantastic. Extremely spacious, tastefully furnished, and with a warm and homey atmosphere. A large, modern bathroom with a rain forest
shower and a massive freestanding bathtub right in the middle of the suite make it a perfect retreat. The suite also comes with a private balcony overlooking the Monferrato hills and the
surrounding vineyards β simply stunning.
Breakfast:
One of the highlights. Breakfast at Al Tirabuson is a real feast.Everything is local, fresh, and lovingly presented. The owner Isabelle bakes fresh bread every morning, and there's a generous
spread of cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, cereals, fruit, juices, and more. Eggs are made fresh to order β exactly the way you like them.
Outdoor Spaces & Pool:
Al Tirabuson also offers a generous outdoor area with several cozy cabanas, lounging areas, and a beautiful pool with breathtaking views over the vineyards and rolling hills. Whether you want
to relax with a book, take a swim, or just enjoy the panorama β this place is made for it.
Hosts & Customer Service:
Isabelle and Andy, the owners, do an outstanding job. Their hospitality is warm, genuine, and absolutely professional. You immediately feel welcomed and taken care of β theyβve created a truly
special place with heart and soul.
Summary / Final thoughts:
A rare gem in the hills of Piemonte. Ideal for a weekend escape, wine tours, or just slowing down.Highly recommended for those who appreciate charm, comfort, and personal hospitality β with a
poolside view thatβs hard to beat.
We can highly recommend to stay here!
