On the Ground:
I checked in our bags the night before the day of departure and so on the departure day we were traveling with hand luggage only and could skip the check-in completely.

Check-in the day before was very convenient and the agent was super friendly and helpful.

Security check at ZΓΌrich airport was rather meeeehhhh today.
The queue was okay with a waiting time of around 5 minutes during rush hour. That is good.
The agent at the screening machine was the problem today. I guess she was new and out of 10 bags she did send 8 bags to second screening or let it resend through the machine.
That took forever and her coworkers were rather unpleased as they had to be going back and forth all the time and lots of bags for manual inspection.
SkyTeam has no own lounge in Zurich and KLM has contracted the Marhaba Lounge in Zurich.
Marhaba is the smallest lounge at the airport and during our time the lounge was super busy but we were lucky to get some seating space.
The F&B buffet is very small but the choices were aboundend and good in quality.
Staff at the gate was okay and all announcements done.
As the airplane arrived late, boarding started 10 minutes after the scheduled time of departure.
Pre- and priority boarding conducted and new they show on the gate screens which boarding group is allowed to board.
At the aircraft door we were greeted by the senior cabin crew member.
Once everyone was on board, the crew distributed some fresh juice as welcome drink.
Announcements of the cockpit crew were clear and understandable.
Announcements of the Cabin Crew were good, clear and understandable.
Inflight:
The Embraer 190 is equipped with a 2/2 seating configuration and for KLM Cityhopper they have exactly 100 seats.
KLM gives out every single seat on this aircraft. That means also in Business Class you have a 4 seat abrest and absolutely no space. Luckily the legroom is enough.
KLM has here a huge disadvantage as the biggest competitors only give out 1 seat in business and keep the one aside free.
Inflight service consisted of a box with a menu card, cutlery a cold snack (couscous, falafel and hummus), some cashew nuts and macaroons for desert.
The box looks good and the food was actually very delicious. The salad was yummylicious.
The crew asked several times for drinks or refills.

The cabin crew on this flight was good, friendly and motivated. They did an nice service but unfortunately no real interaction with the passengers.

There is no Inflight entertainment on this Aircraft.
No WiFi available.
Baggage delivery:
As we are checked through to our final destination, we can simply transit in Amsterdam.

All in all a good flight with KLM. Ground product in Zurich was okay, F&B onboard product was great, nice crew just the hard product is rather a premium economy instead of business class.
