Express Hotel Review for:
Ibis Genève Aéroport
Member of: ALL Accor
Purpose / Reason
One-night stay for a business meeting. Quick in, quick out – exactly the kind of stopover where convenience matters.
Check-in / Check out
Friendly, quick and exactly what you want for a one-night business stay. The free airport shuttle runs every 20 minutes from 05:00 to 23:00 – very convenient. Big downside: even though the
stay was fully paid at check-in (including city tax), the room deposit stayed on the credit card. That shouldn’t happen.
Check-out was done at check-in.
Room
Small but perfectly fine for a short stay. Warm reddish-brown tones make it feel welcoming. The bathroom is a full plastic cabin, very cruise-ship style – functional, clean, and everything in
place. Amenities smell surprisingly nice.
Restaurant / Bar
The restaurant and bar share the same space as the breakfast area and sit right next to reception. They serve drinks and offer more of a snack-style menu than a full restaurant setup –
simple, convenient, nothing fancy.
Lobby & Play Area
In the lobby, next to the reception and the football table, there’s also a small kids’ play corner. A nice touch for families passing through.
Breakfast
A good start into the day. Everything you need is there: scrambled and boiled eggs, cheese and cold cuts, yogurt, fruit, fresh bread, pastries, cereals, plus coffee, tea and juices. Nicely
presented and straightforward.
Location
Perfect for a quick business night before or after a flight. Close to the airport and easy thanks to the shuttle. For anything beyond that, it’s purely practical.
Service
Relaxed, friendly, welcoming. Staff was friendly.
The lobby area is modern and well kept, with couches and sitting areas to unwind in the evening.
Conclusion:
A modern, well-maintained airport hotel, ideal for a short business stopover. Good value for money. The unnecessary credit-card blocker is the only real drawback. Otherwise, a solid and
pleasant stay.
